In October, IFF, a mission-driven lender, developer, and real estate consultant, received $125,000 to support the creation of a high-quality early learning center on the southeast side of Grand Rapids. The center will provide approximately 110 children with full-day, yearlong learning in collaboration with the Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative (ELNC). The center will be built in the Oakdale neighborhood, which has high need for quality early childcare, and feature 10 classrooms and integrated outdoor space for blended learning opportunities.
Through IFF’s leadership, the center will showcase best practices in service delivery, facility management, and administrative efficiency to encourage replication of the model in other parts of the city. We’re excited for IFF and ELNC to partner in this work to raise the bar for high quality early learning experiences in Grand Rapids.
