We’re excited to share our thought partner for the Children and Families Summit, Capita, has launched a groundbreaking new series, Unifying Family Policy, to offer a bold new vision for a national family policy agenda that weaves diverse policy threads together into a single tapestry. Each brief challenges conventional wisdom and illuminates how interconnected policies can support families in a changing and uncertain world.

They’re kicking off the series with three briefs, each exploring a vital policy area and how it links with others — one on paid leave & child care, one on predictable job schedules, and one on Social Security caregiver credits. Together, they reveal pathways to a more coherent, resilient foundation for families everywhere. The series will be cumulative, with regular publication of new briefs that build out additional ideas and connections.

The full series is live on Capita’s Articles & Publications page, and will have interlinked connectivity with one another, so that digital readers can navigate easily among the threads. We’re excited to follow this series as we plan for the next Children and Families Summit to further our collective work to better support families in our region.
