Supporting Whole Child Education at Baxter Community Center

October 31, 2025

Two young women share a classroom activity, smiling as they collaborate with papers and cards, fostering learning together.

In 2023, the Steelcase Foundation awarded Refugee Education Center a three-year $300,000 grant to support its continuum of refugee youth programming and services, which include early childhood care, extracurricular support, and navigation services to help youth and their families adjust to their new life in America.
